My Fitness Journey
It all started when my then-boyfriend, now my husband, would come home on leave. To maximize our time together, I joined him in his workouts, and what began as quality time evolved into a passion I hadn’t anticipated. The process of pushing my limits, embracing the sweat and discipline, and seeing the tangible results of my effort had me hooked. A barbell became more than just equipment; it helped me in my pursuit of personal growth in and out of the gym.
Why Coaching?
A few years into my lifting journey, life took us to new places, introducing us to new faces. As friendships blossomed, so did conversations about fitness. Hearing “I wish I could lift like you” or “how do I start?” became my call to action. I took it upon myself to demystify the world of lifting for them, showing that the strength they admired was not out of reach. I found my true calling. Witnessing the transformation of doubt into confidence in others ignited a passion in me to pursue coaching full-time.
Beyond the Gym
When I’m not coaching or training for myself, you’ll find me soaking up the sun at the beach, cruising on my longboard, exploring new coffee shops, with my nose in a book, or hunting for treasures in thrift stores and antique shops.
